If you wish to rent an electric cart or an electrically assisted bicycle, we strongly advise you to reserve this type of vehicle as soon as possible.
The landing of the maritime shuttles is 15 minutes away on foot, in case you have luggage and no electric cart, we advise you to plan and book a cab to get to the villa. Please note that the villa is located at the top of a short but steep climb.

The tour of the island can be done by car, scooter or electric bike. Visit Fort Napoleon, Pompierre beach and the Pain de sucre. What a pleasure to dine in the evening, in a quiet place, facing one of the most beautiful bay in the world. Diving club "La Dive Bouteille" and kayak rental at 300 meters. For the walkers, 45 minutes round trip to admire the "sunset" at the top of the camel (highest point of the island).
### A little history
The islands of Les Saintes or Les Saintes, in Guadeloupean Creole Lésent, are an archipelago of volcanic islets in the French West Indies in the Caribbean Sea. Divided between the communes of Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas, the Saintes are administratively attached to Guadeloupe. Their inhabitants are called Saintois(es).
It is by the smell of pancakes on the island that one quickly confirms the Breton origin of these inhabitants. After numerous English invasions, which were always repelled, the settlers arrived in the archipelago in the 1640's. They were Bretons, Normans, Vendeans and Alsatians.
